About
The Sultanate of Pyramidal Poem by Md. Ridwanur Rahman critically presents and explains the concept of the ‘Pyramidal Poem’ that is an innovative poetic form created by Sultan Mohammad Shamrat Sheikh, inspired by the structure and philosophy of ancient Egyptian pyramids. The term ‘pyramid’ is traced to Egyptian and Greek origins, symbolizing height and shape. A Pyramidal Poem is digitally composed in a pyramid-like form, following strict rules: it must be a single-stanza, single-page poem with at least three rows, compulsory rhymes, and increasing numbers of letters from top to bottom. The poem develops downward, beginning with a short ‘Cap Row’ (apex), expanding through the emotional and psychological core called ‘Dead Ehtm’ or ‘Mummy’, and concluding with the ‘Pedestal’, which finalizes the theme. Sheikh explains the form through three conceptual structures: ‘Imaginary Geometric’, ‘Imaginary Progressive’, and ‘Imaginary Physical’, comparing letters to stones and rows to steps of pyramids. Overall, the Pyramidal Poem represents a unique digital and structural contribution to world literature, blending poetic meaning, visual form, and disciplined composition.

About
The Bengali book সংশয়ী প্রশ্নবাণ ও বুদ্ধিদীপ্ত ঈমান (Skeptical Question-Arrows and Intellectual Faith) by Md. Ridwanur Rahman presents the Holy Quran’s poetic brilliance, historical depth, and scientific dimensions in an engaging way. It explores whether Quranic stories align with ancient Greek mythology and offers logical reasons for why the Qur’an was not revealed in English. The author compares creation theories across various religions, examines Imam al-Ghazali’s philosophical insights, and discusses Qur’anic references to dinosaurs, mathematics, and humanity’s future moon landing. It also interprets the “Buraq” as a divine spacecraft and suggests that Newton’s scientific discoveries were influenced by medieval Arab scholars. Drawing on modern Egyptian research, the book uncovers traces of Islamic thought in ancient Egypt, explains the mystery of the mummy’s curse through black magic and jinn control, and clarifies why not all Egyptian rulers were called Pharaohs. Finally, it explores the real-world basis of mythical creatures described by scholar Kamal al-Din al-Damiri.
